Crazy Big Dream

Hey friend!

How are you today? Happy? Sad? Blah?

I get you. I feel that way, too; emotions all over at times.

So, hey, how’s that dream been coming? You know, the one that seemed so big that there was just no way you would ever accomplish it? Remember, we talked about it? You felt that God was leading you to it, but you kept coming back to “it’s too big.”

How’s that going?

I want to encourage you today to keep walking toward that crazy big dream. Seriously! You feel like God is leading you in this. I know that it seems too much to handle at times, but think of the reward instead of the hardship. Think of all the lives that can be touched because you are willing to do whatever God asks of you to accomplish this dream. It’s His dream too, you know.

Ok, here is a verse for you to refer to so that you can stay on the path you feel led to. Are you ready? It’s pretty amazing. 1 Thessalonians 1:4, “For we know, brothers and sisters loved by God, that he has chosen you.”

You did read that right. He chose you. You have been specifically picked for this dream. It’s okay. It was meant to be. He has gifted you with all you will need to accomplish this dream and succeed (Hebrews 13:20-21). Just let Him lead (Psalm 32:8).

It’s not going to be easy. Faith will be tested. Satan doesn’t like this dream, but God does. Remember this: “Because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance.” James 1:3

If you still aren’t sure that this is from God and you are questioning whether you should continue or not, I want to encourage you to talk to someone you trust with your dreams. Yep, I have another verse for you to give you a little nudge on this dream path. 2 Peter 1:10 says, “Therefore, brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election.” Talk it out, friend.

Be patient with this dream. It will take time, and His timing is perfect, right? You know it. Of course you do. We have talked about His timing. It will all fall in line, and God will bring this to fruition if you just trust in him. Here is one more verse to just drive this home for you. Philippians 1:6, “Being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.”

Are you ready? I’m here for you, friend. I’m just a message away for whatever you need. Prayer. A chat. Encouragement. Whatever you need to keep you going. Really. I am here. I know what it’s like to walk a path of uncertainty, but knowing that it is the right thing, the right path.

Let me just pray with you right now.

Lord, my friend, she needs to know that You are calling her to this dream. If I am honest, I also need to be reminded that what I am doing is what You have called me to. We want to glorify Your name in what we do and say; to lift Your name high. Can You send that confirmation needed? Can You give hope and fullness where it is needed, and let my friend feel Your gentle hand guiding her? Thank You for loving us enough to stay with us and help us in Your calling. Amen.

Blessings to you, friend.
