Art Journaling

I have always struggled with memorizing scripture. A few years ago, I came across Art Journaling as a way to express my creativity. It is basically using “anything” you like to collage. I filled several journals and re-purposed a couple of old books, One day while working on a project, the Holy Spirit guided me to combining this medium with some index cards and scripture. I love all things whimsical and this format appeals to my visual learning style. This is so easy to do and so purposeful for Jesus. Proverbs 19:21 says this, ” Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.” This is a wonderful project for any age but children love creating these memory verse cards with you!
