Thankful Thursday

“Because of the Lord’s great love we are not consumed, for his compassions never fail. They are new every morning; great is your faithfulness. I say to myself, ‘“The Lord is my portion; therefore I will wait for him’” Lamentations 3:22-24 (NIV)

A new year and a new beginning.  We make many New Year’s resolutions for better health, giving up bad habits, or just being a better person.   We don’t need to wait for the new year when we make mistakes or sin.  I am so thankful that each morning God’s grace is new.  We may not deserve it but God is faithful.  I am thankful for a loving, forgiving, and faithful father, especially when I fall short as I do all too often.  What are you thankful for this new year?
